29th Annual

Horsetooth Half-Marathon & Relay
Fort Collins, Colorado

9:00 am (walkers start at 8:00)

    The Fort Collins Running Club is proud to present the 29th annual Horsetooth Half-Marathon and Relay.  Due to the Horsetooth Dams Reconstruction Project closures, the course has been modified but still presents a scenic country run, including the challenge of the Bingham Hills (click here for course map).

    The three person Team Relay will also be contested, with each member running 4.3 miles.  Relay members will be bused to their respective exchange locations -- no cars are allowed.

    For your safety and the safety of other participants, no baby-joggers, rollerblades, or pets will be allowed.  Due to another scheduled event at Hughes Stadium that day, there will be a 2-1/2 hour time limit for all participants.

Awards

    Custom handmade pottery by local artisan, T.S. Berger, will be presented to the first 3 overall male and female, top master male and female, and first 3 male and female age divisioin finishers.  Divisions:  19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & Over.  In addition, the top three overall male and female winners and the first place finishers in the male and female master categories, will receive a pair of New Balance shoes.  Each finisher (excluding relay teams) will receive a commemorative key chain engraved with the Horsetooth Logo.

Relay Teams

    Each leg of the relay runs 4.3 miles.  There are three divisions:  Coed, Men, and Women.  Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each of the divisions.  There is no race day registration for relays.  Entry is $60.00 per team (No running club discounts).

    Entry fees (includes short sleeve T-shirt):  $20.00 Pre-registration (through April 18); $25.00 Race day; $18.00 FCRC members; Family Discount -- first family member pays $20.00, each additional family member pays $18.00.
